Cupcakes part duex

I'm about ready to throw my laptop out the window!!

But on a brighter note Spring Break starts today at 2:10 PM in our house.  No homework, or spelling words, or early mornings for a whole week.  I'm not going to do more than a couple of loads of laundry (we have to have cloths to take to Grandma's) the whole week.  There is going to be lots of reading, movie watching and lots and lots of Barbie playing.  I'm hoping to be able to write up some post this weekend and have them scheduled for next week since internet connection at Grandma's isn't the best.  However if you don't hear anything from me next week it will be because I started slacking the moment I finished this post..LOL!!

Two more cards like yesterday's in different colors.  On the two yesterday I colored the icing part with Triart marker but the two today I paper pieced the icing.

Have a wonderful Friday and a fabulous weekend!!

Cupcakes everywhere.

Welcome back!  I have to say I'm a little peeved at Mother Nature right now.  Yesterday it snowed....SNOWED!!!!  Its almost April, next week is SPRING Break. I'm having a hard time dealing with this weather.  I need a tropical vacation or something.

I have another couple of card to show you that I made for my friend.  Personally I love this cupcake stamp by Stampendous, its one of my favorites.  The little sentiment is from PTI's Scattered Showers set.  All the paper is again from my scrap drawer.  There is still a lot to use in my little drawer but I'm making a small dent at least.

Have a fabulous day!

TGIF!

Usually the weekdays aren't any different for me than the weekends.  No one has to go to school or work but I still have to cook dinner, wash cloths and entertain Clara.  But today is different, tomorrow I'll be able to meet Tim Holtz!!!  Seriously today will not go by fast enough!  So if anyone is planning to attend Anventures in Stamping in Akron Ohio let me know.

I took a break from printing the mounds of baby shower invitaions this morning to whip up a cute card.  I just had to use my new Poteeka Souffle paper by Paper Studio.  I'm usually not a big fan of the HL paper packs but this one is too cute.

I paired the paper with Pink Cat Studio's Lily and Billy Sweetheart stamp set. I love this image with Lily in the basket.  I used Papertake Weekly's sketch.  I'll probably be using this sketch a lot because its so simple and cute.

I'm hoping to make the perfect anniversary card for my guy since we will be celebrating or 10th wedding anniversary this June.  This isn't the one but I think I'll have to make several before I get the one I want.
Before I go I want to share a very cute picture of Joey and Clara I took this morning it the play/craft room.  We have this huge round cushion from a papasan chair that we drag to the middle of the floor when the girls watch a movie.  Well Joey seems to think its his and wiggled Clara almost all the way off.

Everyone have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Card Patterns Sketch #47

I did another sketch!!  I'm really enjoying using all these sketches.  It really saves me a lot of time.  I never really know where things should go.

Isn't this just the cutest elephant ever!!  I colored her with my Triart markers (thanks Rach) and my trusty BICs.  Its a freebie from Dustin Pike at Doodle Dragon Studios.  (Have you noticed a trend of freebies.  I love them!!)  Did you know that he now has a challange blog HERE.  I'll be showing you my card for that later this week.

I once again raided my scrap stash for the brown CS.  I made lots of reindeer ornaments at Christmas!  I'm pretty sure that the pink plaid came out of a stack.  Which stack is a whole other question.  Since it wasn't in the stack I'd have to say I've had it for some time.  I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Label Three.  Have you seen the sneak peaks of all the new label that are debuting at CHA?  All I have to say is OMG I can't wait for them to hit the stores.  You can take a look HERE.  You'll have to scroll quite a bit to see everything but it is so worth it.  Anyways back to my card.  The ribbon, heart brads and rhinstones were all from the bottom of one of my many plastic tubs.  I'm trying to clean things out so I can get more stuff.
