Mornin'

Good morning to you.  If you consider cold and snowing with a two hour school delay (after you got up already at 6 and took your shower) a good morning. It wouldn't be so bad except I had errand to run this morning after I dropped Rhalynn off so I could be back by 9:15.  But since there is a two hour delay it means the road must be bad (which terrifies me) so no driving for me this morning.

Here's one more of my Christmas cards (which I haven't even sent out yet).  I hope to be sticking them in the mail today (cross your fingers for me)

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Mermaid tail

The Charisma Cardz challenge this week is "Something with a tail".  Since I don't really have any animal stamps (I actually have none) I had to think outside the norm.  Then it struck me, Mermaids have tails!!  So I inked up cutie Pearl Tidepool and got to work.  I combined it with the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #60  and I had a pretty cute card.

Ingredients:
Stamp:  Sweet November Stamps-Pearl Tidepool
Paper:  DCWV-Black Currant
Embelishments:  Distressed Stickles-Picket Fence, Flowers-Making Memories, small brad
Tools: Nestabilities Small Circle #3

You are the best!

This was scheduled to post this morning while we were out having a great play date with our friends but yet again blogger has failed me on the pre-scheduling.

It's Thursday which means only  two more sleeps (how we count down to exciting things) until my super duper, fun filled, no kids allowed, whole day fun with my BFF Rachel!!! Which will include but not limited to scrapbook sales, tasty food, vampires and werewolf's.  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (i'm excited. Can you tell?)

I've had the Paper Crafts Magazine Go-to Sketches since it came out in May but have yet to use it.  Why I don't know,  I love sketches and can hardly do anything without one.  Everyone of the Go-to Sketches is great and  they even included a few that are super simple.  So I whipped up this in no time flat.  Its actually one of my favorites from the magazine.

Ingredients :
Paper - the paper studio
Stamp - studio G
Embossing - Stars Cuttlebug folder
Circles - Spellbinders Standard Small Circle

Have a fabulous day!

Thank you card.

Real quick post today because Anthony is home so I'm going to talk him into taking Clara and I shopping and maybe out to lunch.  First I want to say that while Glee was a little odd last night I LOVED the music.  Rachel's "Total Eclipse of The Heart" was fantastic.  I love that song!!!

I wanted to make something different for Rhalynn's teacher for Teacher Appriciation Week.  I wanted something elegent (or as close as I can get).  I used the same color combo I've been using all week.  I've just about used all the scraps that have been on my desk.  The DP is from Me & My Big Ideas.  The blue CS is Core'dinations, and the red and black CS is PTI.  The Thank you stamp is from Inkadinkado which I cut out using my Nestie small circle and shadowed that with my nestie small scalloped circle.  I followed this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge.  Boy do I love sketches and Sketch Saturday has some great ones.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.  Since its beautiful and sunny here I'm going to live it up today.

Super Birthday Anya!

GLEE TONIGHT!!!!!

Sorry I just had to get that out of the way!

So I needed another birthday card for one of Rhalynn's friends.  I'd already colored up Amazing Duo Anya so I used her.  I stamped cutie Anya on PTI cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with my Triart markers.  The blue CS came from my scrap folder.  All the other CS is PTI.  I used my Nestie Small circles and scalloped circle.  I used my Fiskers Threading Water edge punch and added a some bling.  I used Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch # 45.

So who's ready for Glee's Madonna Show tonight!  I can't wait.  I've already claimed the TV.  So that means I have to get busy in my crafty space so that I have something to post tomorrow.  Have a wonderful Tuesday.

My fav card ever!!

I had this post scheduled to go up at 9 this morning while we were at the vet but it didn't work so here it is.

I love how this card turned out.  Exactly how I wanted it to, that doesn't happen to often!  I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for but when I saw the sketch this is what came to mind.  I followed Get Sketchy Card Challenge #33.  All the images and the sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's Showtime set.  All the paper is PTI cardstock (which I love).  I used my Nestabilities small circle to cut the yellow circle.  I had to use my Expression to cut the black circles since I only wanted a small amount of it to show.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful Thursday!

A little spring!

Happy Monday to everyone.  I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend.  It's a little dreary here today.  I'm okay with that as long as the rain doesn't turn to snow.

Today's card is a bright spring card.  I'm going to try to get all my Easter cards finished early (I stress TRY!)  First off the cute little girl elf image is a Sweet November Stamp by Amy Young.  I stamped her on PTI cardstock and colored her with my Triart markers.  I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Small Circles to cut her out.  All the paper and the sentiment sticker came from Basic Grey's Sugar Rush Collection Packthat I won from Monique at Monique Griffith Designs.  You'll be seeing a lot of it because I love it so much.  I also used some adhesive rhinestones and flower brads from my stash.
