PDS Challenge

Happy Saturday to everyone!!

I love how this card turned out!! I've been trying to enter some challenges here and there. I'm not very good at the specific ones. Over at the Pixie Dust Studio Pixie Challange blog they challenged us to use elements with letter that spell FAB. I have to tell you the F and B came pretty easy for me. I had no clue what to use for the A. I already had my papers layed out and my DIGI image of Swiss Pixie Heidi colored with my BIC markers. I just couldn't for the life of me figure out what to add that began with the letter A. So I was checking out the design team's creations and discoved that yes indeed I already had an element that began with A. My argyle paper!! I felt like such a knucklehead.

F- flowers (Prima)
A - Argyle paper
B- Brad

Today is my birthday!! So next week I will be posting a blog candy you won't want to miss!! Thanks for stopping by!!

More thank you cards.

Happy Thursday friends!! Well its snowing yet again. I'm crossing my fingers for Hawaii the next PSC. I could be perfectly happy never having to see snow again. But for at least the next two years we are here in Ohio. The girls love the snow and don't seem to be really affected by the cold (I haven't felt my toes in weeks).

Well one to what you are here for. I made a couple more Thank you cards with my little bear and strawberry from Whimsie Doodles.

The first one didn't turn out like I pictured but its okay. All the paper is from K&Company's Wild Saffron ( I {heart} this paper). I used my scalloped circle nestie and cut a hole in the card. I then pop-dotted the sentiment on the inside so that when the card is closed the sentiment sticks out the front. (Does that make sense??)

Front: (You can see my little Clara P making faces in the background)

Inside:
This card was a total accident. But it turned out to be a fairly decent mistake.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thursday! Stay warm!!

Thank you berry much.

Good morning bloggerland! We got enough snow last night for school to be on a two hour delay. The girls are positively thrilled. Rhalynn has snowmen dancing in her head.

I'm slowly but surly getting the girls thank you cards for Christmas done. I love this beary image by Whimsie Doodles. Its a free image for their newsletter subscribers. I colored it with my BIC markers. I printed the sentiment directly onto the silver cardstock that I think came from Walmart. I used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities Label One for the mat. The red was just random cardstock from my scraps and the pokadot was from Amy Butlers Lotus stack.

Sorry for the bad pic, the light isn't very good this morning.
I just wanted to share with you this picture. This morning when I went out to warm up the car this is what I found.
Isn't my hubby the greatest? He scraped off my windows and left me this little message. I had to take a picture because I knew that it wouldn't last once the car was warm.
Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday!!

Happy Birthday!!

Today is my wonderful Hubby's 30th birthday!!

We usually don't do much for his birthday. We usually wait until my birthday and go out on a date since my b-day is only 6 days after his. We had lunch and then enjoyed a little bit of cake. The girls were upset since I didn't get party hats so Anthony being the clever guy he is collected his hats and thats what they wore.
Here's the birthday boy and our two little sweeties!! (notice the Buckeye cake)
Here's the card I threw together last night for Anthony. It was the home to his Game Stop gift card. Its pretty simple but my guy is pretty simple too. The paper is K&Company Wild Saffron, the birthday stamp is from Stampendous and of course TGF Birthday Boy Ian which I colored with my BIC markers.
I love you Anthony and happy birthday!
I hope that every one had a wonderful weekend. I spend most of the day just trying to stay warm. I can't wait for the spring!!
