Today is a beautiful day!

I don't have anything crafty to share today.  We had a busy weekend.  Saturday I went to Columbus to the Memories Scrapbooking Expo with my Mother-in-law.  We has a fantastic time.  It wasn't to big but it was fun to look around and I did snag a couple of bargins.  All my purchases came from one booth and I only spent $10.  Here's what I got. 7gypsies Interchangeable certifiable stamp round, Technigue Tuesday Clear Stamps: Sweet Baby and Loves me, Loves me not, Fancy pants Designs crocheted flowers, buttons, and pins, two pink liquid applique pens, American Crafts clear stamps Glee, and Paper salon tailored tin clear stamps.

On Sunday Rhalynn had her very first soccer game.  They did wonderful.  It was so fun to watch them playing and having a good time.  Here's my little goalie.  She got to go first and she let everyone of the balls pass her before she would touch it.  Something we'll have to work on.
Isn't this the cutes picture.  We have serveral girls on our team.  They out number the boy by quite a bit.

And finally one last thing.  Look what came in the mail yesterday.  I can't wait to get them inked up.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!!  I'll be spending the day cleaning and then organizing my stamps.

A card, a baby tooth and a just because!

Silly title I know.  I often have lots of trouble with titles.

Todays card is a just because card that I had to do so I could color these awesome images.  The images are from a fantastic new digi shop Amber Inks (link in my side bar also).  The set has 8 images and 1 sentiment.  And guess what?  It was free.   Not only that Amber has four other girly sets that are FREE too!!!  Can you believe that?  She just recently added some cute bunnies to her digis and the prices are awesome..  I can't wait to see what else she comes up with!  The paper is from my K&Co Wild Saffron Stack.  The images were cut using my Nestabilities Large Ovals.  I also followed last weeks OCC sketch.

I'm having on of those "my babies are growing to fast" Mom days.  My sweet girl Rhalynn lost her first baby tooth this morning.  She was so excited that it finally fell out.  Its been wiggly for about two weeks.  My blue eyed beauty is so proud to show off her missing tooth.

And of course I can't leave out my other blue eyed girl.  I think Clara's finally master this potty thing!

Well thats all I've got for today.  I'll be heading to Columbus tomorrow to the Memories Scrapbooking Expo!!  I'm so excited!  I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!  I'm off to put up the mountain of laundry.

Easter Elf

Well happy Thursday everyone!  Its almost the weekend! YAY!  Weekends usually aren't any different than any other day of the week for me since I'm a SAHM (well I guess I get to see Anthony a little more).  But this Saturday I'll be attending the Memories Scrapbooking Expo in Columbus Ohio.  So if anyone else is attending and would like to meet up you can email me at scrapathomemom@live.com.

Today's card is yet another Easter card made with Sweet November Stamps Spring Elves.  All the paper is from the DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack.  Its a pretty busy card but I like the way it turned out.

Sweet Bunny and Chicks

Well its another beautiful but chilly day here in Dayton.  Its been a busy morning in the Sayer's household today.  We had to drop off our car to be serviced and get my x-ray (I didn't break anything) and be back in time to get Rhaynn from school at 11:35 for early release (it seems we have a lot of these).  So now we are hanging out in the playroom/craftroom.  Both of the girls are slightly irked that we aren't going to the park on account that I can't really walk.

My card today is another Easter card.  I think I only need three more!  The cute little bunny image is a digi from Phindy's Place group at PCP.  I colored her with my triart markers and added some stickles to the bottom of her dress.  Then I cut her out with using Nestabilities Label Four.  The sentiment is from the Sweet November Stamp set Spring Elves.  All the paper is from MME Pretty Please.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Wednesday!

Easter Chick

This cutie is for my sweet niece Harley (yes like the motorcyclce).  The image is a digi from Bugaboo stamps.  I printed her on PTI cardstock and colored her with my Triart markers.  The sentiment is from the Sweet November Stamps Spring Elves.  All the paper is from the DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack.  I added a some pink pearls to the bottom corner to jazz it up a bit.  I'm pretty sure I used a sketch for this one too but I'm not sure which one.

Things have been pretty good around here.  Anthony pampered me all last week and yesterday things were starting to get back to normal.  Until last night when I stepped wrong off the bottom stair and rolled my ankle right over.  I think I scared Anthony when I did it because I let out this horrible scream.  The bloodcurling horror movie kind of scream.  Thankfully I don't think its broken, we'll see tomorrow when we have it x-rayed.  I really can't catch a break!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday!

I had a wonderful weekend.  Saturday my LSS had a "Garage sale".  While I was not prepared at all for the amount of people or that some women are rather mean when it comes to snagging a bargin, I did get some things that I couldn't pass up.  I got all of this for $10!  Sorry for the bad photos its been dreary here all day.  Next time I'll be prepared and go early so I can get in the front of the line.

I've been busy making easter cards so that I can get them mailed to my nephew and neices in Texas.

The image is a free digi from Sliekje digi Stamps.  He's so cute I couldn't resist him.  She has tons of free digis on her site.  I printed him on PTI cardstock and colored him with my Triart markers. I cut him out with Label One Nestie.   All the paper is from the DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies Stack. I added some pearls and called it finished.  I did follow a sketch I think it was last weeks Mojo Monday sketch.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!

Wow its late!!

Wow this is a really late post for me.  I really have to learn not to get distracted when I sit down at my computer.  I had a wonderful Mom's night out with my friend Rachel.  We had dinner and then saw Avatar.  We talk so much we rarly finish our conversations.  They tend to just continue the next time we are hangingout.  Love ya Rach!

Okay so on to my card.  All the PP is from the DCWV Nana's Kids stack (one of my favs).  The sentiment is Hampton Arts.  The main image is a free digi from Pollycraft.  I printed it on PTI cardstock and colored the cutie with my triart markers.  Added a some stickles to the cupcake and viola a cute birthday card.

Its good to be back

I'm starting to feel like myself again.  I can't sit for to long at my desk or I start getting achy.  I got some coloring done last night.  I really have to catch up on my easter cards so I can mail them out.  I have one to show you that I made before my unfortunate ER visit.

The image is a digi from Elizabeth O. Dulemba from her freebie page.  I printed it on PTI cardstock and colored it with my handy dandy Triart markers then I added some stickles and glossy accents.  The sentiment is from the Sweet November Stamps Spring Elves.  All of the paper is from DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack.  I'm trying to use paper from the stacks that I already own before I get more.  I find it easier to use multiple PP if I use it from the same stack.

Have a wonderful evening and I hope to be posting regularly next week.

I'm behind...

AGAIN!  Real quick post.  I'll link everything up later.  I just wanted to show you this really cute baby shower invite.  My sister, Nicole, asked that I make a western invite for a shower she is throwing.  I'm going to be pretty busy making these for the next month. She need 100 so I wanted to do something simple.  I'm entering this into the challenge over at The Pink Elephant.  They want to see Party Invites and what is kind of party is more fun than a baby shower?  Have a wonderful night everyone!!

I'm runnin' behind!

I'm so late posting today.  I had it all ready to post and then my computer started to do funny things.  Apparently I was being attacked by mutant monsters or somthing they way it was dinging (<---that sure looks funny) at me.  It took me all afternoon to run virus scans and get everything fixed.  Apparently after 10 years living with my Hubby the computer nerd things are starting to rub off.  Usually I just take it to him and ask him to fix it.

So I was late making this birthday card.  Rileigh's birthday snuck up on me and I forgot.  I'm sorry Rileigh you should have it in a couple of days!  The image is from Sassy Studio Designs.  You won't be able to find it in their shop just yet.  I recieved this as my free birthday image and it won't be available until April.  You can go to their PCP page and get signed up for a free image on your birthday!  I printed her onto my trusty PTI cardstock and colored her with myt fab Triart markers.  All the paper is from K&Co Wild Saffrom line.  I just love this paper!!!  I've been holding on to every little scrap so that I can get enjoyment out of every little bit. I added some Stickles to the scallop border which I made with a Fiskers Threading Water border punch.  I also added some tiny rhinestones to the top and bottom.  All and all its pretty simple but like I said I was late making it and had to get it in the mail.

I hope that you had a wonderful Wednesday!  I have something super cute to post tomorrow!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm so excited that the sun is shining and the high today is going to be near 60!  I have another Easter card for you today.

I used the My Mind's Eye papers that I wrote about yesterday.  The image and sentiment is another Sweet November by Amy Young.  She is stamped on PTI cardstock and colored with my wonderful Triart markers.  The felt flowers. rhinstone brads and ribbon are from my stash.  I added some little flat backed pearls by Queen & Co that I got yesterday at my local LSS.

OCC Sketch Challenge

Well I"m back!  My back is feeling much better and I'm hopping to be able to get an appointment for some tests soon.  I need to find out what's trigering the spasms the only downside is that they will be trying to make my muscles spasm and its not very fun.  Thanks to everyone who sent their well wishes!

I was able to get into the scraproom last night after the girls went to bed.  It did not go well at first.  I ended up stamping and coloring my image five times before I liked how it turned out.  So I got the February issue of the UK magazine Cardmaking and Papercraft as a gift and it came with this almost 6x6 stack of My Mind's Eye Pretty Please paper.  I love love love this paper!  I'm going to have to find more or it.  I will be making all my Easter cards with it.

Okay so on to my card.  The sentiment And image are from the Spring Elves set from Sweet November by Amy Young. I stamped this cutie on PTI cardstock and then colored him with my Triart markers.  All the paper is from the above My Mind's Eye stack.  The bling is from my stash and I used glossy accents on the egg to make it stand out a bit.

I'm also entering this card in the challenge at the OCC Sketch Blog
OCCSketch5

Thanks for stopping by everyone!  I hope that you Monday is sunny and fabulous!
