Mother's Day card

Sorry for being MIA since Monday.  I've been busy rearranging my craft space.  I'm getting JetMax cubes to make two desks.  I need a seperate space for my laptop and current table keeps losing a leg.  I use an old dinning room table right now that Anthony and I bought used 10 years ago.  Needless to say its seen better day.

Anyways I've been coloring some Stamping Bella images that my friend Rach gave me some time ago.  So I decided to throw together a Mother's day card.  I'm really behind on these.

I used my Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper.  Have I mentioned that I love love love this paper!  I followed Friday Sketchers Sketch #99.  I also added a flower charm from MM.  Added a little hand written sentiment and called it done.

Tim Holtz!!!

Did that get your attention??

I had such a wonderful time at the Adventures in Stamping convention this past Saturday.  I spent nearly three hours at the Stampers Anonymous booth where Tim Holtz was demoing his wonderful products.  I just have to tell all of you who haven't met Tim he is a fantastic person.  He is just a wonderfully nice person.  He loves what he does and enjoys showing others how to do it too.  For about an hour I sat in a chair right across the table from him and chatted while he showed tons of techniques.  I really could have sat right there all day but I knew others wanted to have the chance to sit there too.  But before I left the table Tim made me a fabulous tag.   I mean he made it for ME. He used my fav Tim Holtz stamp and put my initial on it.  How awesom is that!!!

Isn't he just a cutie too!

Here he is making my tag!!  He was demonstrating how to use his mask sheets.  They come uncut so you can cut whatever you want with a die cutting machine (cuttlebug, big shot, Cricut).  Tim used the Big Shot express by the way.
Coloring the middle of the heart with water to give it a bleached out look.

And the finial fabulous tag!!!  He even signed the back for me.!!

I hopt that everyones weekend was fabulous.  And heres to a wonderful week!!

TGIF!

Usually the weekdays aren't any different for me than the weekends.  No one has to go to school or work but I still have to cook dinner, wash cloths and entertain Clara.  But today is different, tomorrow I'll be able to meet Tim Holtz!!!  Seriously today will not go by fast enough!  So if anyone is planning to attend Anventures in Stamping in Akron Ohio let me know.

I took a break from printing the mounds of baby shower invitaions this morning to whip up a cute card.  I just had to use my new Poteeka Souffle paper by Paper Studio.  I'm usually not a big fan of the HL paper packs but this one is too cute.

I paired the paper with Pink Cat Studio's Lily and Billy Sweetheart stamp set. I love this image with Lily in the basket.  I used Papertake Weekly's sketch.  I'll probably be using this sketch a lot because its so simple and cute.

I'm hoping to make the perfect anniversary card for my guy since we will be celebrating or 10th wedding anniversary this June.  This isn't the one but I think I'll have to make several before I get the one I want.
Before I go I want to share a very cute picture of Joey and Clara I took this morning it the play/craft room.  We have this huge round cushion from a papasan chair that we drag to the middle of the floor when the girls watch a movie.  Well Joey seems to think its his and wiggled Clara almost all the way off.

Everyone have a wonderful and safe weekend!

ICS challenge

My post is late today.  I have a good excuse!  I didn't get to finish my card last night because I HAD to watch Glee.  It was fantastic!!  I've been listening to Madonna all morning.

My little Rhalynn is doing her part to make the world a better place today.  Here kindergarten class volunteered to pick up trash in a local park today for their community project.  She was very excited this morning about doing her part to "make the world happy".

Here's another wonderful image by The Greeting Farm.  That usually how I look and feel on Fridays when I start the laundry.  All the PP is from MMI Pretty Please.

I used this weeks sketch #63 from Inspirational Card Sketches.  I just love  their sketches!

Super Birthday Anya!

GLEE TONIGHT!!!!!

Sorry I just had to get that out of the way!

So I needed another birthday card for one of Rhalynn's friends.  I'd already colored up Amazing Duo Anya so I used her.  I stamped cutie Anya on PTI cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with my Triart markers.  The blue CS came from my scrap folder.  All the other CS is PTI.  I used my Nestie Small circles and scalloped circle.  I used my Fiskers Threading Water edge punch and added a some bling.  I used Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch # 45.

So who's ready for Glee's Madonna Show tonight!  I can't wait.  I've already claimed the TV.  So that means I have to get busy in my crafty space so that I have something to post tomorrow.  Have a wonderful Tuesday.

A tongue twister and a couple of challenges!

Good Monday morning to you! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.

This morning while the girls were eating breakfast I was skimming my blog list and found out that I'd won a surprise digi from The Greeting Farm for my tongue twister.  My winning tongue twister:   Friendly farmers frantically forge for frequent farm fresh finds!  How cool is that!

Last month I purchased Travel Anya from The Greeting Farms farmers market. (This Thursday the 22nd is the next farmers market)  She is one of my favorites and I had to have her.  However it took me some time to actually ink her up.  I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do with her.  It wasn't until I was shopping this weekend for a graduation gift for my cousin that I got my idea.  I always give graduates "Oh The Place You'll Go" by Dr. Suess, its something that my Grandmother gave me when I graduated high school.  So this is what I ended up with!

Of course I used Travel Anya from The Greeting Farm.  I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto PTI white cardstock and colored her up with my Triart markers.  Yellow paper is Core'dinations Tulip, congratulation PP is DCWV, and the pink paper is a radom sheet that I found in my stash.  The sentiment is handwritten becasue I was to lazy to print it out.  I also made the pearl swirl with Queen & Co snowflake pearls, its not quite right but I think I'll eventually get it.

Thanks a latte!

Boy am I glad its Friday!  I think I need some retail therapy!  If its not one thing its ten others.

Yesterday I went to Joanns because I need some yellow paper and theirs was on sale.  I not only found my yellow paper but I also got this really cute stamp set by Fiskers called Latte Love.  I had to ink it up right away and this is what I came up with.

I took this weeks OCC Sketch challenge and moved the layers around and left off the ribbon (cause I forgot about it).  I stamped all the images on PTI white cardstock and colored them with my Triart markers. I also added a little Glossy Accents to the coffee in the cups to give it a liquid look. The PP is from the K&Co Faded China Paper Pad by Amy Butler.  I'm also entering it into Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge as it is a open week.

I hope eveyone has a fab Friday and a beautiful weekend.  I'll see you back here on Monday!

My fav card ever!!

I had this post scheduled to go up at 9 this morning while we were at the vet but it didn't work so here it is.

I love how this card turned out.  Exactly how I wanted it to, that doesn't happen to often!  I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for but when I saw the sketch this is what came to mind.  I followed Get Sketchy Card Challenge #33.  All the images and the sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's Showtime set.  All the paper is PTI cardstock (which I love).  I used my Nestabilities small circle to cut the yellow circle.  I had to use my Expression to cut the black circles since I only wanted a small amount of it to show.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful Thursday!

Glee tonight and a birthday card!!!

I'm so excited that Glee returns tonight!  I've already informed my Hubby that I claim the TV at 9:28pm.  My Hubby makes fun of me for liking Glee so much.  He doesn't understand what draws me to a show about high schoolers.  I have a hard time explaining it to him.  You either get it or you don't.  If you watch Glee leave me a comment and let me know what draws you to it.  I'd love to hear from other Gleeks!!

So unless I get some crafty things done this afternoon or tomorrow morning I won't have anything to post tomorrow.  I still have to fold and put away all the laundry that I did yesterday.  I think it breeds in the dirty laundry basket.

On to the card.  I made this card for one of Rhaynn's friends who's party is this weekend.  Of course the party is on the same day as our soccer game so we aren't sure if she'll make it.  The image is a digi from Sassy Cheryl's that I got from their PCP page.  The sentiment is from a K&Co set that I got ages ago at M's on clearence and it is stamped in Memento Summer Sky.  I cute the image and the sentiment out with my Nestabilities Label 4.  I so love this one, okay I love them all.!  All the paper is from the DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack.  I used the Papertake Weekly sketch from last week.

I hope that everyone has a fab Tuesday.  And Happy Glee watching Gleeks!!

Its Monday again.

This is a long post!!  If you are just here for the crafty portion you can scroll down to the bottom to see my card with the ICSketch.

Springbreak was wonderful.  Both to long and to short.  Rhalynn was so excited to go back to school this morning.  Clara and I on the other hand were not ready for the alarm clock.

This is my girl doing their Easter egg hunt at Grandma's and Grandpa's near Athens Ohio.  It was so windy that every time they went to pick up an egg they were nearly blown over.
We pretty much ran the girls ragged all week.  Easter Sunday we took the girls to see "How to train your Dragon" and they loved it.  Clara asks about three times a day to see it again.  Monday we cleaned the house and had soccer practice.  Tuesday we spent the day looking for outdoor furniture.  Of course Anthony and I can never agree on anything so we still don't have any.  Wednesday we spent the morning with our good friends then the girls napped the afternoon away.  Thurdsay we went to the Boonshoft Museum here in Dayton.  We had a wonderful time and plan on going back many time this summer!

Heres the girls and their Daddy posing for crazy Mom!

Friday we went to Athen Ohio to see The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions.  While they were beautiful and did some amazing tricks I can't help but think we weren't given the full show.  Maybe due to the size of the venue.

On Saturday we added a member to our family!  This is Joey Sparkles!  The girls are in love and I think Anthony is too.  He is a very good dog.  Not a lot of barking and loves to be adored.
Yesterday I was finally able to get in my craft room and create a little.  I had this Anya colored since last weekend but haven't had the time or the mojo to use her.  I used the Inspirational Card Sketch #61 for this one.  The animal paper is from DCWV Nana's Kids stack.  The buttons are from a Making Memories pack that I got at Micheals yesterday for $0.99.  I added the star and some glitter to the largest button using my Glossy accents.

Have a wonderful Monday!  I'll be back tomorrow hopfully with a LO for Clara's scrapbook.  For some reason I have a hard time with her pictures.
