Can you believe 9 challenges!!

Okay so it wasn't that hard.  With it being so close to Valentine's Day everyone has the same themes going on.  This card is for my Hubby who I love dearly and would rather be caught dead than be seen reading my blog!!  I still love him anyways!

I used my wonderful Karen Doodles First Kiss digi and colored it with my Triart markers.  The PP is Bela BLVD Sugar Plums.  I got it a LLS on clearence with some other Christmas stuff.  However it looked more like Valentine paper with the hearts on it.  Unfortantly I covered most of it up so you can't really see how cute it is.  I stamped a bunch of hearts with a $ stamp from Michaels and then cut it into pieces.  I reallly like how it turned out.  The sentiment is a Michaels $ stamp as well.  I used last weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday's skecth #33 because I liked it so much but didn't get a chance to play with it until now.

TGF CHA relay, a sketch, and some a extra stuff!

Good morning my blog world friends!!
Well my kids get to sleep in and I get to post this without speeding through it.  Rhalynn's school is on a two hour delay this morning because of the weather.  I'm so ready for spring time and flip flops!!

First off I wanted to let everyone know that on Friday if I've reached a 100 followers (I'm only 8 away)  I'll be putting in everything I have to give away in the blog candy box and adding a second drawing for some wonderful paper!!  So let everyone know!!  If you still haven't evented my blog candy you can go HERE.

Anyways this is my card for The Greeting Farm's CHA relay day 2.  Meet Charlotte!  Isn't she just the cutest.   I used Delightful Sketch #15.  The Paisley paper is from Making Memories.  I absolutly love this paper and I'm down to my last sheet.  I'm not sure the yellow works very well but I needed a color that really stood out against the paisley.

I need to learn to color darker skin so I can color Charlotte here like little Miss Taytum.  Taytum is the daughter of one of my best friends Jodi.  Doesn't Charlotte look like she could have been created from Tay's image.

TGF CHA relay day 1 and Get Sketchy #22

I know I posted this card yesterday but I just wanted to start all over when I wasn't so freaked about not getting it uploaded to the TGF gallery.  My hubby didn't understand why I was so freaked but I know you girls would understand.  I promise I'm not crazy all the time.

The card isn't great but this skecth really gave me fits.  It took me like 2 hours to get it right.  All the papers are from my scrap stash.  I'm slowly but surly getting it cleaned out.  The image is from TGF, he is Mer Ian.  If you hurry you can get him too.  Just stop by The Greeting Farm blog and pick up this free image.  If you get you card uploaded to their gallery and comment on the post before 6:00cst tonight they will email you the next image that you can see in THIS POST.

Some randomness!

Just some cards that I haven't posted yet.

The first two I used a coloring page for the image.  My hubby often asks me why I'm browsing the free coloring page sites.  The last card the image is from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Happy Friday!  Have a great weekend.  We are going to the in-laws so I'll be back on Monday.

More Challenges!!

Can you tell that I'm having fun doing all these challenges!!  The Hubby is home this week so I've had time to play without entertaining Clara as well.  Although I do keep my desk neater when shes creating with me.

I'm entering this card into three challenges this week!!
I used Core'dinations Black Magic Hypnotic for the base and the mat behind the image and I randomly sanded it.  You can't see it as well in the picture but I love how it turned out.  The PP is again from the Targe $ spot, the sentiment is a Heidi Grace.  This image is a Digi from Karen Doodles.  Itsn't it just the cutest!!  You should check out her blog.  She is giving away one free digi to her followers.

Doodle Dragon Challenge!!

So if you didn't know Dustin Pike has a new challenge blog Doodle Dragon Studio Challenge.  I love Dustin's images which you can find HERE.  If you like his images you should be following his blog because he has freebies on Wed. so go check it out now.  I entered this card into the Doodle Dragon first challenge.  The theme is Love/Valentines day.  The due date is Saturday the 23rd so you still have time to join.

I think I used the last of my brown scraps on the base of this card.  The PP and the heart brad are all from Target's $ spot.  I'm going to have to get more of this paper to actually use if for what I bought it.  The image is from Dustin Pike.  I followed along on the Doodle Dragon Challenge's first ever blog hop and got this image called Cupcake Farmer.  Isn't he just the cutest!!  You can check out Doodle Dragon Studios to purchase him.  I cut him out using my Spellbinders Nestibilities Label One and colore him with my trusty BIC markers and my Triart Markers.

Thanks for stopping by!!  Don't forget to enter my Birthday blog candy!!

Card Patterns Sketch #47

I did another sketch!!  I'm really enjoying using all these sketches.  It really saves me a lot of time.  I never really know where things should go.

Isn't this just the cutest elephant ever!!  I colored her with my Triart markers (thanks Rach) and my trusty BICs.  Its a freebie from Dustin Pike at Doodle Dragon Studios.  (Have you noticed a trend of freebies.  I love them!!)  Did you know that he now has a challange blog HERE.  I'll be showing you my card for that later this week.

I once again raided my scrap stash for the brown CS.  I made lots of reindeer ornaments at Christmas!  I'm pretty sure that the pink plaid came out of a stack.  Which stack is a whole other question.  Since it wasn't in the stack I'd have to say I've had it for some time.  I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Label Three.  Have you seen the sneak peaks of all the new label that are debuting at CHA?  All I have to say is OMG I can't wait for them to hit the stores.  You can take a look HERE.  You'll have to scroll quite a bit to see everything but it is so worth it.  Anyways back to my card.  The ribbon, heart brads and rhinstones were all from the bottom of one of my many plastic tubs.  I'm trying to clean things out so I can get more stuff.

Happy {heart} day!!

I'm so excited!!  I made a card that I can enter in three challanges!!  This is a first for me.  I love the way this card turned out.  I like it so much that I may not be able to give it to anyone!  Isn't the image just to cute! It is a freebie from Michelle Perkett Studio. You can get this image too over at Michelle Perkett Studio at the PCP (paper craft planet).  By the way I love the PCP.  The brown paper I used from my scraps, I'm trying to clean that out.  All three PP is from the Target $ Spot.  Gotta love Target $ Spot!!  The happy {heart} day stamp is a $ stamp from Micheals.  I clear embossed it but the pic is so bad its hard to tell.

*edited to add that I added some lines to the middle cake so I could use all three colors*

PDS Challenge

Happy Saturday to everyone!!

I love how this card turned out!! I've been trying to enter some challenges here and there. I'm not very good at the specific ones. Over at the Pixie Dust Studio Pixie Challange blog they challenged us to use elements with letter that spell FAB. I have to tell you the F and B came pretty easy for me. I had no clue what to use for the A. I already had my papers layed out and my DIGI image of Swiss Pixie Heidi colored with my BIC markers. I just couldn't for the life of me figure out what to add that began with the letter A. So I was checking out the design team's creations and discoved that yes indeed I already had an element that began with A. My argyle paper!! I felt like such a knucklehead.

F- flowers (Prima)
A - Argyle paper
B- Brad

Today is my birthday!! So next week I will be posting a blog candy you won't want to miss!! Thanks for stopping by!!

More thank you cards.

Happy Thursday friends!! Well its snowing yet again. I'm crossing my fingers for Hawaii the next PSC. I could be perfectly happy never having to see snow again. But for at least the next two years we are here in Ohio. The girls love the snow and don't seem to be really affected by the cold (I haven't felt my toes in weeks).

Well one to what you are here for. I made a couple more Thank you cards with my little bear and strawberry from Whimsie Doodles.

The first one didn't turn out like I pictured but its okay. All the paper is from K&Company's Wild Saffron ( I {heart} this paper). I used my scalloped circle nestie and cut a hole in the card. I then pop-dotted the sentiment on the inside so that when the card is closed the sentiment sticks out the front. (Does that make sense??)

Front: (You can see my little Clara P making faces in the background)

Inside:
This card was a total accident. But it turned out to be a fairly decent mistake.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thursday! Stay warm!!

Thank you berry much.

Good morning bloggerland! We got enough snow last night for school to be on a two hour delay. The girls are positively thrilled. Rhalynn has snowmen dancing in her head.

I'm slowly but surly getting the girls thank you cards for Christmas done. I love this beary image by Whimsie Doodles. Its a free image for their newsletter subscribers. I colored it with my BIC markers. I printed the sentiment directly onto the silver cardstock that I think came from Walmart. I used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities Label One for the mat. The red was just random cardstock from my scraps and the pokadot was from Amy Butlers Lotus stack.

Sorry for the bad pic, the light isn't very good this morning.
I just wanted to share with you this picture. This morning when I went out to warm up the car this is what I found.
Isn't my hubby the greatest? He scraped off my windows and left me this little message. I had to take a picture because I knew that it wouldn't last once the car was warm.
Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday!!

Happy Birthday!!

Today is my wonderful Hubby's 30th birthday!!

We usually don't do much for his birthday. We usually wait until my birthday and go out on a date since my b-day is only 6 days after his. We had lunch and then enjoyed a little bit of cake. The girls were upset since I didn't get party hats so Anthony being the clever guy he is collected his hats and thats what they wore.
Here's the birthday boy and our two little sweeties!! (notice the Buckeye cake)
Here's the card I threw together last night for Anthony. It was the home to his Game Stop gift card. Its pretty simple but my guy is pretty simple too. The paper is K&Company Wild Saffron, the birthday stamp is from Stampendous and of course TGF Birthday Boy Ian which I colored with my BIC markers.
I love you Anthony and happy birthday!
I hope that every one had a wonderful weekend. I spend most of the day just trying to stay warm. I can't wait for the spring!!
**hugs**
