Color Me Copic's 1st Challenge!!

Good Monday morning friends!  For those of you wondering we has a wonderful week in Pigeon Forge!  The girls didn't want to come home (however I was ready to get back to my own bed).

Here's a wonderful pic of Anthony and the girls in front of the MagiQuest Castle.  Which by the way is one of the funnest things we have ever done.  How can you go wrong with magic wands and adventure quest that range from easy to really really hard?!?!  I also just found out there is a MagiQuest at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason Ohio (Anthony and I have been talking about going).

.

Okay on to why you are here!  My extremely talented bestie Rachel and some other very very talented ladies started a blog Color Me Copic about a month ago.  If you haven't been there, go now!  Its mainly an informational and tutorial blog with tons of helpful hints.  Rach did a fantastic tutorial on coloring images black and while and issued a challenge to use the method. Te best part is that The Greeting Farm has donated the prize!!!!!!  Since Rach is my number one cheerleader and a fabulous friend I had to try my hand at it.  I'm happy I did!

I had to add a touch of color since I bought the DCWV Black Currant stack (its so fabulous!!) at JA's the moment I saw it. I've been waiting for it since I saw a sneak peek of it.  I also used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #59 and turned it on its side.

Ingredients:
Stamp: Sweet November Stamps Fathom Calmsea
Paper: DCWV Black Currant
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Pearls: Martha Stewart
Button: Fancy Pants Designs
Flowers: Prima.

Have a wonderful Monday!!!

Smooch!

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I hope that you are all having a wonderful day!  My little family and I are once again in Pigeon Forge, TN.  I'll try to have some pictures to post at the begining of next week.  We spent the morning at Dollywood, and the girls just always have the best time.  And since Anthony is along for this trip I was actually able to ride a few rides by myself.  Tonight we go the the Dixie Stampede and the girls and Grandpa are napping now so that we are all rested and relaxed for the fun show tonight.

This card I made a week or so ago.  The XOXO strip is a removable clip that I thought would make a wonderful bookmark.

Ingredients:
Paper - Me & My Big Ideas
Embelishments - Anna Griffin Peyton Collection

Have a fabulous day!!

You are the best!

This was scheduled to post this morning while we were out having a great play date with our friends but yet again blogger has failed me on the pre-scheduling.

It's Thursday which means only  two more sleeps (how we count down to exciting things) until my super duper, fun filled, no kids allowed, whole day fun with my BFF Rachel!!! Which will include but not limited to scrapbook sales, tasty food, vampires and werewolf's.  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (i'm excited. Can you tell?)

I've had the Paper Crafts Magazine Go-to Sketches since it came out in May but have yet to use it.  Why I don't know,  I love sketches and can hardly do anything without one.  Everyone of the Go-to Sketches is great and  they even included a few that are super simple.  So I whipped up this in no time flat.  Its actually one of my favorites from the magazine.

Ingredients :
Paper - the paper studio
Stamp - studio G
Embossing - Stars Cuttlebug folder
Circles - Spellbinders Standard Small Circle

Have a fabulous day!
